FINAL FINAL BUILD
Your Game Jam deadline is seconds away.
The build is running. The progress bar is crawling toward 100%. Everything should be fine, except it will never quite finish, and an endless storm of error messages, advertisements, notifications, and increasingly ridiculous pop-up windows is flying toward your screen.
Close as many pop-ups as possible before the countdown reaches zero. Closing a window gives you a little more time, but the interruptions become faster and more overwhelming as the build progresses.
HOW TO PLAY
- Left Click on X on the popups to close a them and gain +0.7 seconds
- Clicking anywhere else on a pop-up only pushes it away
- Press A and D to check the left, front, and right sides
- Keep surviving and close as many windows as possible
- Press R after Game Over to restart
CONTROLS
- A: Turn left
- D: Turn right
- Left Mouse Button: Interact with pop-ups
- R: Restart after Game Over
THEME: COUNT DOWN
The Game Jam deadline is constantly counting down while your build progress approaches 100%, but never actually reaches it. Every closed pop-up buys you a fraction of extra development time.
There is no final victory. There is only one question:
How many pop-ups can you close before the deadline wins?
ABOUT
FINAL FINAL BUILD is a fast-paced, fixed-view survival game created for GMTK Game Jam 2026. It combines pixel-art cyberpunk scenery, retro computer interfaces, animated pop-ups, absurd game-development disasters, and the familiar panic of trying to submit a project before the deadline.
Good luck with the build. You are going to need it.
